This body of sculptural work celebrates the effects of light and color, the idea of weight, or weightlessness, time, balance, and composition. A favorite hobby of mine is stacking and balancing rocks. I have spent an extensive amount of time within the meditative state of this activity.  It has lead me to some of the richest ideas about making, some of my happiest moments of experience, and some of the most incredible reactions amongst friends, family, and complete strangers. This work is as minuscule as it is massive. It is relative to how deeply you care to look. It is the result of action and stasis. It is a monument to the permanence of impermanence. It is acting in faith upon what is improbable, but not impossible.
